Hello Laurence, tell us briefly about your meeting and your engagement please?

We met in 2013 in Prague with Rudy, we were both on Erasmus. We had barely known each other for a few months when he decided to come and do his master’s degree in Brussels so that we could stay together (he’s French, he was going to study in Paris after Prague). Since then, we go back almost every year, it’s like our second home.

Afterward, the engagement took place in July in Prague, Rudy offered me the weekend so that we could go back there before our one-year world tour which began in August. He proposed to me where we first kissed, in front of my old apartment, a place that meant a lot to me. I knew we both wanted to get married but I was absolutely not expecting it at the time, I thought he might ask me instead during the world tour. After calling our loved ones, we stayed true to ourselves: we celebrated it at the restaurant and we partied all night on a boat. 😉

If you had to tell us a precious memory of your wedding in a few words, what would it be?

The “first look”, the first time he discovered me in a wedding dress: a very moving, very intimate moment, just for two with the photographer. And the ceremony under the weeping willows. It was two of our friends who officiated, they did it perfectly, it was truly a magical moment, surrounded only by the people we love the most in the world.

When did you know you had found YOUR dress and what advice would you give to brides-to-be who are still looking for theirs?

Basically, I’ve tried on many dresses from many designers but this is the only one that caused me real emotion. I had tears in my eyes when I saw myself.

For the advice: not to be satisfied with what they find but to persevere to find the dress that they really like. And don’t hesitate to make changes. I didn’t think it was possible (or that it would cost too much) before going to Elsa Gary by Anne but they changed the shape of my cleavage and enlarged the bare back to match my morphology and my opinions. .. And that changed everything. Congratulations to Anne who has the eye. 😉

Do you have any service providers to recommend?

They have all been awesome. Elsa Gary by Anne in particular (or now Queen to be ) obviously but also:
